The Gold Coast Titans have received a much-needed boost, with halves Tyrone Roberts and Ash Taylor named to take on the New Zealand Warriors in Auckland on Friday night.

Taylor is yet to play a match in 2019 after injuring his left quadriceps in the final week of pre-season training. Roberts returns for his first match since leaving the field after only 12 minutes in the Titans’ Round 1 clash against the Canberra Raiders.

The inclusion of Taylor and Roberts sees AJ Brimson return to the interchange bench, while Ryley Jacks has been retained as part of the extended squad. After missing last week’s match, young prop Moeaki Fotuaika returns on the bench to play in the country of his birth, with Max King named as 18th man.
