The launch of Titans Together is the next step in the Gold Coast Titans’ commitment and connection to the local community and the people of the region.

At a star-studded launch at Kurrawa Surf Lifesaving Club, hosted by Fox League’s Yvonne Sampson, the award-winning Titans Community Foundation was rebranded and reborn as Titans Together – dedicated to Care, Include, Unite and Inspire the local community.

Titans Chief Executive Steve Mitchell said the Club’s massive focus on community projects, and the incredible results delivered because of it, necessitated the “refocus” with Titans Together.

We are Titans Together

“I think it is an opportunity to focus on the work we are doing, an opportunity to communicate a little more clearly exactly what the organisation does and the four pillars (Care, Include, Unite, Inspire) that go beside that,” Mitchell said.

“It is one of those stories that lies below the waterline a little bit. There is a lot of work that goes into this space.

“Being able to tell some of the social outcome work that the guys achieve, and what is possible moving forward is really exciting over the next couple of years, with some of the groups that we are reaching now and some of the organisations we have supporting that work.

“There is a catch phrase that we use at the Titans: There is a place in the game for everyone at the Titans.

“Our mandate is about inclusion, and that means the whole of the Gold Coast – all our peers, other athletes, other community groups – the Gold Coast has got to be the beneficiary of the work that the Titans do.”
