Titans Head Coach Justin Holbrook has fine-tuned his forward pack, issuing a recall to the experienced Mitch Rein and Jarrod Wallace as Gold Coast look to get back into the winner’s circle in the Queensland derby clash with Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday.

Rein has reclaimed the Titans No.9 jersey, and Wallace returns to the 17 as part of a new-look bench, with tough backrower Keegan Hipgrave forcing his way back into the starting team.

Sam Lisone also returns to the starting team after starting last weekend’s game off the interchange bench, while Jaimin Jolliffe moves back to the bench.

In the backline, the only enforced change comes with Dale Copley’s return from an ankle injury in the centres, replacing Young Tonumaipea.

Tonumaipea suffered a Grade 2 medial collateral ligament injury last weekend against the Dragons, and while the Titans centre has avoided the need for surgery, he is still facing an 8-12 week stint on the sidelines until he can return to play

Fullback Corey Thompson continues to clear his HIA protocols after being concussed against the Dragons, and has been named to take his place at fullback against the Broncos.

Bryce Cartwright, Erin Clark, Beau Fermor and Tyrone Roberts have all been named on an extended reserves bench.

While the Titans are returning to Suncorp Stadium this weekend, this is a Brisbane Broncos home game. The Titans will return home to Cbus Super Stadium in Round 8 against the Sharks.
