Titans Cavalry Returns for Battle with Roosters

In what is sure to be a physical battle through the middle, the Gold Coast Titans welcome back forwards Sam Lisone and Keegan Hipgrave for the clash with the Sydney Roosters at the Sydney Cricket Ground (home of the Gadigal People) in NRL Indigenous Round.

On top of the returning forward power, AJ Brimson has also been added to the extended squad.

After a long lay-off from a fractured back, his return to the squad will potentially add another dimension to the Titans’ attack. Whether the ‘pocket-rocket’ will actually be deployed this weekend or not will be determined later in the week.

In a grueling season with no byes, Coach Justin Holbrook rotated his quad against the Panthers, providing a break for Lisone and Hipgrave, while Nathan Peats came in on match day for hooker Erin Clark.

Clark has been added into the extended squad but Peats has retained the number nine jersey after playing his first game since Round 3 on the weekend.

On the back of a number of players recently returning from injury the Titans have been able to name a pretty consistent line-up which is sure to assist in maintaining the momentum built from a strong performance against the table-topping Panthers.
