Community rugby league faced its fair share of obstacles in what has been a challenging year.
After months of uncertainty for local clubs and players about if and when they would be able to take the field this year, the green light was given in June.
The Gold Coast Titans have this week thanked all Rugby League Gold Coast, Group 18 and Group 1 volunteers, coaches and support staff that enabled the greatest game of all to return.
Many of the players come from the local region, including Tanah Boyd (Runaway Bay Seagulls), Jai Whitbread (South Tweed Bears), Keegan Hipgrave (Nerang Roosters), Jamal Fogarty (Beaudesert Kingfishers), Toby Sexton (Currumbin Eagles).
