The Gold Coast Titans are excited to announce that AirPhysio has joined the Club as a supporting partner of our community programs.
AirPhysio will support the Club’s Leagueability programs, which include the Titans physical and intellectual disability rugby league sides.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell says the support from AirPhysio will help the Titans make rugby league a game for all.
“The AirPhysio team started with a dream of helping people with respiratory conditions like Asthma, Bronchiectasis, COPD and Cystic Fibrosis.
“They’ve got a device which does just that and they’ve really grown into a wonderful local success story.
“From their home on the Gold Coast, their brand has reached a national and international customer base and they are big champions of our local community.
“The company is filled with passionate rugby league people and we’re thrilled that we will get to work with them over the next two years.”
AirPhysio Managing Director Paul O’Brien says he’s excited about what can be achieved in the social inclusion space and is pleased that his company can play a role in growing the game.
“I have always been passionate about Rugby League and what it does for the community.
“After meeting with the Titans, I realised that their passion and dreams showed a true understanding of what community involvement is all about.
“The dream of a PDRL and IDRL state of Origin team and the journey has the potential to change so many people’s lives and make a positive difference.
“As a company we have grown from producing 1,000 devices a month through to 10,000's of devices a month in just 12 months.
“This growth has helped us employ people from our local community, growing from 2 to 27 staff in the past 12 months, manufacturing and assembling our devices here on the Gold Coast.
“We’re passionate about helping our community and making a positive difference, this is where we have found that partnering with the Titans aligns with our passions and dreams of a better future for the Gold Coast community as a whole.”
