Tino to miss two weeks, accepts early plea

Tino Fa'asuamaleaui will miss the Titans next two games after taking an early guilty plea for a shoulder charge.

Fa'asuamaleaui's clash with Brad Parker in the third minute of Saturday's game against the Manly Sea Eagles in Mudgee saw him pick up 210 penalty points for the incident.

He'll miss Friday night's game against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Cbus Super Stadium and next week's game against the Brisbane Broncos.

Fa'asuamaleui has had a huge start to 2021, picking up seven Dally M votes across the first six rounds after joining the Gold Coast in the off-season.

South Sydney star Latrell Mitchell is facing a four-match ban after being charged over three separate incidents in his side's golden point triumph over Wests Tigers.

Mitchell was served a grade two dangerous contact charge for a hit on David Nofoaluma as he looked to defuse a long Tigers break, and will miss three games if he takes the early guilty plea.

Should Mitchell challenge the ban and lose at the judiciary, he would be out for the next month.
