Titans Macca’s Club Ambassador visits a big hit with local juniors

THIS week, Junior Rugby League players across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers in NSW had the opportunity to meet Titans players in the annual Macca’s Club Ambassador visits.

Titans players travelled to 22 different Junior Rugby League Club’s this week, answering questions, taking photos, signing autographs and training with over 2,500 junior players across each club.

Titans Game Development Manager Darren Robb, says the visits are an important part of the long-term partnership the Titans have with local Junior Rugby League Clubs on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers.

“Having the players out visiting the junior clubs this week is an important part of our annual ambassador program,” Robb said.

“For many kids, having a Titans player visit their club and train with them is a memorable opportunity.

“The players also had the opportunity to talk with parents and volunteers at the Club’s about the road to success, and the vital role parent’s play in that,” he said.

The Titans Macca’s Club Ambassador visits began in 2012 and proudly supports every Junior Rugby League club on the Gold Coast and Group 18 (Tweed Heads to Byron Bay region).

Each Junior Rugby League Club is allocated a Titans ambassador to help promote the club and attend events like Club Sign on Day’s.
