Proctor preparing for 'massive' few weeks

Titans co-captain Kevin Proctor says the most pleasing thing for him out of his sides round 11 win over Canterbury was that his team was playing as a team.

While acknowledging there is still plenty of room for improvement, Proctor was pleased with the application shown by his team-mates.

"We worked on our discipline all week and we still got one sin bin but I think that was a positive for us as we worked together as a team," he said.

"Working together as a unit, we weren't doing that for 80 minutes, and I thought we worked on that."

Titans Coach Justin Holbrook praised his pack after the win, crediting their performances through the middle for setting up the victory.

Proctor agreed, but said it was more of a team performance.

"Moe (Fotuaika) played well, but I think we all played well as a team and that's been a goal of ours the last couple of weeks to try and work together and I thought we did that well in patches."

The Titans face Cronulla in round 12 with the Sharks moving their home match to Coffs Harbour, then they'll head to Melbourne to take on the Storm before returning to the Gold Coast for a round 14 blockbuster against the Sydney Roosters at Cbus Super Stadium.

"I think these next couple of weeks are massive for us, especially thinking of the bigger picture," Proctor said.

"We've got to focus on week to week and just try and play consistent footy.

"We've been up and down like a rollercoaster lately so hopefully we stay up and limit the lows."
