Patrick Herbert is excited that his future is on the Gold Coast for the long term.
Joining the Titans in 2021, Herbert has inked a contract extension that will see him remain at the club for the next two seasons.
The centre says it gives him and his young family security.
"It's a good foundation for me and my family and it's good to see that Justin and the coaching staff see me in their future."
Herbert has played 11 games so far this season, scoring three tries.
He'll be joined in the backline by two important faces for Saturday's clash with the Raiders with both AJ Brimson and Corey Thompson to return.
"Both of those players bring so much energy and prowess to our team," Herbert said.
"You've also got David (Fifita) and Tino (Fa'asuamaleaui) who are coming off what is probably a disappointing season of Origin for them, so I'm sure they will be humming to get their spirits up for our game."
Herbert says he has a "fire in the belly" and that's the general feeling around the squad who are ready to get back into action after the bye last week.
"We've been disappointed with a couple of results lately but it is up to us, the 18 blokes that get to go out there on the weekend to turn it around."
The Titans play the Raiders at Canberra's GIO Stadium on Saturday, with kick-off at 5:30pm.
