Tino running into '22 after recovering from knee injury

Titans fans, it might be two days after Christmas, but we thought we'd give you another present.

Tino Fa'asuamaleaui is back on the field and is progressing nicely after injuring his knee during pre-season training a few weeks ago.

The 2021 Paul Broughton Medallist says it looked worse than it actually was.

"We had a wrestle session and it was just a bit of friendly fire," Fa'asuamaleaui said.

"One of the boys fell over and landed on my leg.

"I did my MCL but it was only a grade one and obviously the brace made it look bad but it's not."

The representative forward says it is frustrating more than anything to miss time on-field during pre-season, despite being able to continue to work on his fitness in other ways.

"Its annoying because I was building combinations with the boys but it's alright there are people in worse situations," he said.

With the brace now off, Fa'asuamaleaui has returned to running and will be ready for the Club's pre-season trials in February.
