NRL 2022: Titans, Firing Fotuaika among changes for derby clash

The Gold Coast Titans welcome back forward enforcer Moeaki Fotuaika for Thursday night's Queensland Derby against the North Queensland Cowboys.

The prop returns from an ankle injury that kept him out of the Titans last game.

One of Queensland's best in the 2021 Origin Series, Fotuaika will have a point to prove in front of Maroons Coach Billy Slater who, along with his squad, will be in attendance at Cbus Super Stadium.

After playing away in Indigenous Round last week, the Titans will again wear their Indigenous jersey design and celebrate local culture as part of the Round 13 fixture.

With Tino Fa'asuamaleaui missing due to Origin duty, Isaac Liu moves to lock, with Sam McIntyre to start in the second row.

Patrick Herbert also makes his return to the starting side, named at centre with Esan Marsters moving to the interchange bench.

Aaron Booth continues to close in on a Titans debut, named as 18th man.

Jaimin Jolliffe will celebrate 50 NRL games, with the prop having played all of those with the Gold Coast club after joining on a train-and-trial deal in 2020.
