Greg Marzhew made a triumphant return at the weekend, helping the Burleigh Bears to a massive 64-16 win over the Brisbane Tigers at Pizzey Park.
The metre-eating machine starred in the centres in his first game back since Round 9 of the NRL; scoring a try, running for 135 metres including a whopping 61 of those post-contact and breaking 11 tackles in his first Hostplus Cup game of the season.
Marzhew wasn't the only Titan to star in the win to cement top spot on the ladder at the halfway point of the competition, with Alofiana Khan-Pereira among the points-scorers and running for over 200 metres again as well as Tony Francis, Herman Ese'ese, Jacob Alick and Aaron Booth all having strong performances.
Tweed wrestled back a strong start by PNG to hold off the Hunters and claim a 24-22 victory, including a classy Jojo Fifita try in the 52nd minute.
The Seagulls are away to Ipswich next Saturday; meanwhile, the Bears travel to Sunshine Coast.
