Gold Coast damaging forward David Fifita is set to be unleashed for the Titans' Round 16 clash against the Newcastle Knights in a much-welcomed return to provide plenty of impact.
Put on ice for the last month due to a re-aggravation of his Grade 2 right knee MCL sprain, the barnstorming back-rower is in the final stages of his rehabilitation with the representative round set to help him be fully-fit for the club's next game of the season down in the Hunter Valley.
Fifita has been integrating within full squad skills and performing modified tackle technique sessions, with the likelihood of being fully fit and available for selection for the Knights bout.

With no other significant injuries coming out of the weekend's clash against Cronulla or the relative Hostplus Cup matchups other than Paul Turner coming off in the 67th minute after suffering existing calf tightness, all rehab players are working through their respective plans and have trained early this week, before returning with the rest of the team for their first session back on Saturday.
