The Gold Coast Titans are proud to announce that several players have completed studies in addition to their playing commitments during the 2022 season.
Six members of the Titans NRL squad finished certificates during the season, adding to a long list of current and former players who have completed additional studies while at the club.
Titans half Tanah Boyd completed a Cert IV in New Small Business through the Elite Athlete Business School this year.
Moeaki Fotauika and Phil Sami completed Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention. Both Phil and Moe have expressed interest in the Community Services sector and are currently undertaking a Cert IV in Youth Work.
Corey Thompson completed a Cert IV in Youth Work and is currently working through his Senior Club Coaching Course after announcing his retirement from the NRL this year. Corey will volunteer with the Future Titans program next season and is a coach at CoachAi.
Sam McIntyre completed a Diploma of Business through the Elite Athlete Business School is currently undertaking a Cert IV in Fitness. Bringing the two together, Sam is interested in owning his own gym in the future.
Joseph Vuna successfully completed a Cert IV in Youth Work while recovering from a knee injury. Joey is now considering completing the Diploma of Youth Work to build on his studies this year.
Adding to this list of achievements, Titans NRLW halfback, Lauren Brown, was awarded the NRLW Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2022.
Lauren currently runs her own doggy daycare business, Wags Dogwalking, located on the Gold Coast.
