Locked in: Leeming a chance to make NRL debut

Titans coach Justin Holbrook hasn't ruled out the possibility of talented No. 9 Kruise Leeming making his NRL debut, keeping the new recruit in his final 19-man squad to face the Dragons on Easter Sunday.

Bringing 187 games of English Super League experience, including captaining Leeds to a Challenge Cup victory and the 2022 grand final; the 27-year-old landed on the Gold Coast on Monday and has been firming as a bolter for this weekend's home bout.

"There is a chance... I'm just unsure of that last bench spot for the moment," Holbrook said at Saturday's captain's run.

"Kruise has been really good this week since only being here a short amount of time so we'll decide on that [before kick-off]."

The side remains as per program at this stage, with Toby Sexton excited for his recall in the halves, replacing Kieran Foran who failed to overcome a calf injury.

Jayden Campbell will also get his first opportunity to start, with the young gun to return to the No. 1 jersey in place of the injured AJ Brimson.

The only change sees Jojo Fifita, Keano Kini and Treymain Spry fall off the extended bench with the trio to have the week off with no Hostplus Cup due to the Easter long weekend.

The final team will be named at 3.05pm Sunday, ahead of kick-off against the Dragons at Cbus Super Stadium.
