Gold Coast heavyweights Keebra Park will feature prominently on grand finals day, with the school’s nursery proving itself as a juggernaut of school boys rugby league.
Keebra Park will feature in three of the four grand finals including both Division 1 deciders against rivals Palm Beach Currumbin (Year 9/10) and Marymount College (Year 11/12).
Marymount College will bring plenty of their own firepower to the grand final clash, with the team featuring several prominent rugby league names, including former Titans player, Anthony Lafranchi’s son Oscar and former Melbourne Storm player, Marcus Bai’s son Cooper.
Palm Beach Currumbin’s inclusion in the Year 9/10 Division 1 decider is the culmination of an impressive rise across the five-round Titans Schools League season.
The school began the season in the Division 2 competition, before being promoted after Round 1 action. They have since been undefeated on their way to a grand final showdown with their arch rivals.
This year was the biggest edition of the Kinetic Titans Schools League, with more than 130 teams registering across the boys and girls competitions.
It has been an exponential rise for the competition, which was introduced to provide more opportunity for schools to compete at an elite level outside of the Langer Trophy, with the biggest intake before the pandemic at 52 schools in 2019.
