Rugby league the winner in first all abilities inter-club match

For the first time in history the Gold Coast Titans All Abilities side played an external side on the weekend as a curtain raiser to the NRL and NRLW double header.

The result was irrelevant, but the fact it ended two tries a piece means that everyone was a winner on the day and is an apt way to celebrate such a milestone.

The Titans have previously only been able to play internal club matches prior to the weekend, so taking on the Sunshine Coast side is a huge step forward.

As leaders in the leagueability space, the Titans have seen continued growth and support across the wider rugby league family, with clubs like the Broncos now creating their own similar programs.

The Titans intellectual and physical disability sides are both in action again this weekend as a curtain raiser to the Titans verse North Queensland Cowboys at Cbus Super Stadium.
