Judiciary update: Niall Williams-Guthrie

Gold Coast NRLW star Niall Williams-Guthrie has been charged by the match review committee following the Titans' Round 5 clash against the Roosters on Saturday.

Being placed on report in the 15th minute for accidental contact made on Brydie Parker, the outside back has been hit with a grade 1 careless high tackle charge in what is deemed to be her first offence.

But in good news for Titan, the early guilty plea will only result in a warning. Should she elect to fight the charge and be found guilty at the hearing, she will miss one match - that being Round 6 against the Dragons.

David Fifita was also placed on report in the following NRL game but was not charged.

No plea has been submitted at this time.
