Alofiana Khan-Pereira has claimed the 2024 Ken Irvine Medal, leading the NRL with an incredible 24 tries for the Gold Coast Titans.
Khan-Pereira finished two tries ahead of his closest competitor, North Queensland Cowboys' Kyle Feldt, who crossed the line 22 times.
Feldt's double in Round 27 cut the gap to one, but Khan-Pereira sealed his dominance with a stunning 80-metre effort against the Penrith Panthers, solidifying his place as the season's top try-scorer.
Rounding out the top five were Sydney Roosters duo Daniel Tupou and Dominic Young, each with 19 tries, while Maika Sivo (Parramatta Eels) secured fifth spot with 17.
Khan-Pereira’s 24 tries not only earned him the league’s top accolade but also set a new franchise record for the Titans, surpassing the 20 he scored in 2023 and David Fifita's 17 in 2021.
Other notable Titans try scorers include David Mead (16 tries in 2011), James Roberts (16 in 2015), Kevin Gordon (15 in 2013), and Anthony Don (15 in 2018).
With 'AKP' winning the Ken Irvine Medal, officially announced at the upcoming Dally M Awards, it marks the first time a player from any of the Gold Coast franchises (Titans, Chargers, Seagulls, Giants) has achieved this prestigious honour.
