NRL 2025: Titans, Trial 1 team: Fifita, Foran among stars to face Broncos in Toowoomba

The Titans will field a near full-strength line-up for their first trial of 2025 with AJ Brimson, Kieran Foran and David Fifita among the stars to face the Broncos on Sunday afternoon in Toowoomba.

Missing five players through All Stars duties, coach Des Hasler has opted to play a majority of his top squad in the showdown, selecting nine regular starters in the 13 to begin from the opening whistle in the Darling Downs derby.

Brimson and Foran will get first crack together in the halves shootout with Jayden Campbell representing the Indigenous All Stars, whilst Jaylan De Groot will fill No. 1 duties with Keano Kini in camp with the Maoris.

Fifita is set to play his first game after off-season ankle surgery, facing his former side alongside fellow Maroons prospect Beau Fermor in the back-row.

This weekend will see 11 uncapped Titans named in the 28-player squad - including several pathways prospects such as Zane Harrison, Sam Stephenson, Cooper Bai and Sunny Kama who will get their opportunity from the bench.

Kick-off is at 2.30pm on Sunday at Toowoomba Sports Ground.
