There's plenty of talent in the Titans roster to line-up in the back-row for the 2025 season.
Ahead of the first official 'Team List Tuesday' of 2025, it's expected Klese Haas will jostle incumbents Beau Fermor and David Fifita for a starting spot, but the Gold Coast also have a number of other stars who also have more than enough talent to undertake the important edge forward role.

David Fifita
Age: 26 | Appearances: 126
One of the most talked about players in the NRL, Fifita is back with a vengeance in 2025 with a big desire to return as one of the leading back-rowers in the competition.
Making 20 appearances last season, the 26-year-old is set to feature from the Titans' opening round after off-season ankle surgery saw him miss the start of the pre-season at Parkwood, but the barnstormer back-rower is fit, firing and ready to fire for Gold Coast.
With the Origin arena back in his sights, Fifita is hungry to play his best footy in the early rounds and let the rest take care of itself in his eighth season of NRL.

Fifita finds the line
Beau Fermor
Age: 26 | Appearances: 68
On the cusp of an Origin debut, Fermor impressed Des Hasler last year as a proven performer in the back-row - having the ability to play both on the left and right hand side.
Also a very capable centre having filled that role six times in 2024, he scored five tries across 22 appearances last year but it's his defensive work rate that is most impressive with a tackle efficiency nearing 93 percent.
After injury crippled Fermor's 2023 season, the 26-year-old had an uninterrupted 2024 and will hit the ground running int he new year ahead as a Round 2 starter as he pushes to chase his dream of pulling on a Maroons jersey by playing good footy for the Titans.
Klese Haas
Age: 23 | Appearances: 39
One of the most improved players in 2024, Haas started in 14 of his 22 games last year and is hoping for more game time from the opening whistle in his fourth season of NRL.
The younger brother of Broncos enforcer Payne, Haas earned a contract extension at the end of last year which sees him a Titan until 2027, with the ability to play in both the middle and edge.
Haas continues to show what he is capable of... what can he bring in season 2025?
Jacob Alick-Wiencke
Age: 25 | Appearances: 10
One of the most versatile players in Des Hasler's squad, Alick-Wiencke has returned to Titans HQ after another strong Papua New Guinea campaign, which also led to Indigenous All Stars selection after missing 2024 through a syndesmosis injury.
Adopting a middle forward role for the Kumuls to add another string to his bow, the 25-year-old made six appearances last year and is hoping to push for more game time in 2025 as he continues to build on his first grade experience.
Ryan Foran
Age: 21 | Appearances: 0
The former Australian Sschoolboys forward gained valuable experience in the Hostplus Cup with the Ipswich Jets in 2024 and looks to push for a NRL debut in his third year as a full-time Titan.
A product of the Future Titans program, Foran was a standout for Palm Beach Currumbin in their 2021 season and is working in the wings for his chance to get a taste of first grade.
Arama Hau
Age: 20 | Appearances: 1
Hau will hope to add to his NRL games tally after debuting in Round 27 last year, starting in the back-row and playing a formidable opening 20 minutes to kickstart his career.
A former Australian Schoolboys forward, the 20-year-old gained valuable experience playing for the Featherstone Rovers in the English Championship in 2023 - starting in eight of his 10 appearances abroad and will hope that more NRL is on the agenda in 2025.
