Injury report: Campbell sidelined for Super Hero Sunday

Jayden Campbell will miss the Titans' Super Hero Sunday clash against the Cowboys after failing his head injury assessment in last week's trip to Parramatta.

Coming from the field in the 27th minute, the dynamic playmaker was deemed to have suffered a Category 1 concussion which results in a mandatory 11-day stand-down as part of the NRL's return to play protocols.

Missing this weekend's derby, he'll return in Round 19 against the Broncos.

In other injury news, David Fifita will be given an extra week with the upcoming bye to return from ankle surgery after receiving further treatment from club medical staff last Friday. He won't line-up in this weekend's contest but is expected to be fit and available against his former club.

In positive news, Jaylan De Groot is available for selection having overcome a hamstring strain; whilst Keano Kini and Carter Gordon continue to positively progress in their rehab from their respective long-term injuries - the electrifying No. 1 slated for a return as early as next month with the rugby convert also on track to get back on the field this season.
