The 2026 season will be Phil Sami’s last in Titans colours as he opts to take up a new contract opportunity with the Dragons.
The 28-year-old made his NRL debut at Gold Coast in Round 15, 2017 and has played 149 games across his 10 years at the club.
Titans coach Josh Hannay said he understands Sami’s decision to ensure long-term career security beyond 2026.
"Phil has been a big part of the Titans playing squad for over a decade now and while it will be tough to see him leave at the end of the year, we fully respect his decision to take up a long-term contract opportunity next season to guarantee certainty for him and his young family,” he said.
"He is someone who has always given his all every time he pulls on the Titans jersey and that’s been no different to start this season.
"He remains fully committed to finishing 2026 strongly with us as a senior player in our backline.
"There will be opportunities to more formally acknowledge his contributions later in the year, but he’ll also always be part of the Titans.”
