Locked in: Origin duo make trip to Melbourne to face Storm

Josh Hannay has confirmed Maroons pair Jojo Fifita and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui will back-up against the Storm after Wednesday night's Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium.

Re-joining their Titans teammates at captain's run on Saturday, the duo have both been given the green light to make the trip to Melbourne to help weather the Storm after Gold Coast's Round 18 bye.

The Titans coach has made no changes to his 1-19 ahead of game day with Lachlan Ilias remaining part of the extended squad - Siale Faeamani and Jett Liu making way after playing Hostplus Cup for the Tweed Seagulls on Saturday.

A special occasion for two Titans this weekend - Dean Ieremia will make his club debut against his former team at the very ground his played his first NRL game at; meanwhile, AJ Brimson notches up his 150th appearance against the Storm, whom he played his maiden match against in 2018.

Kick-off is at 6.15pm on Sunday at AAMI Park, Melbourne.
