NRL 2026: Titans, Late mail: Hannay reshuffles spine, forward pack for Cowboys clash

Josh Hannay has made a number of late positional switches ahead of Thursday's Indigenous Round clash against the Cowboys at Cbus Super Stadium.

Headlining the changes include AJ Brimson's shift to the halves, with the Titans coach considering the move at captain's run before making the final decision to have the versatile outside back alongside Jayden Campbell ahead of game day.

Jaylan De Groot comes into the side at centre with Lachlan Ilias shifting to the bench; whilst Sam Verrills and Josh Patston will also start in the forward pack - Oliver Pascoe and Arama Hau moving back to the pine in the reshuffle.

The remainder of the side remains unchanged for the Indigenous Round opener across the NRL and NRLW - the Titans with three First Nations players proudly representing their mobs including Campbell (Kamilaroi), Pascoe (Ngemba) and Patston (Bundjalung).

Gold Coast will also wear a specially-designed jersey by local artist Christine Slabb, showcasing the club's connection to country, community, culture and each other.

Kick-off is at 7.50pm; live on Channel 9, 9Now, Fox League and Kayo Sports.
