Round 27 team: Fermor returns as Sami, Verrills farewell Titans in Dolphins derby
Beau Fermor has been cleared to return for Friday's XXXX Derby clash against the Dolphins at Cbus Super Stadium - the final game of the regular season.
In the Sunshine Showdown, Phil Sami will line up for his 166th and final Titans appearance before joining the Dragons in 2027; alongside Sam Verrills who plays his 69th game in Titans colours before departing at season's end.
Luke Sommerton will start at hooker with Oliver Pascoe ruled out due to a Category 1 concussion, whilst Josh Patston moves back to the bench with Fermor's inclusion.
Gold Coast development player Sunny Kama has been named on the six-man bench but isn't expected to make his NRL debut - the first time featuring as part of Josh Hannay's 19-man squad having faced the Dolphins in the centres during the pre-season trial at the start of the year.
Kick-off is at 6pm on Friday at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast.
