The iSelect Gold Coast Titans refute speculation that key second-rower David Taylor may be released to another club.

Taylor, his manager Col Davis and Titans CEO Graham Annesley have all publicly declared that the rumour that had apparently been circulating for several weeks is baseless and should end there.

Dave wants to stay with the Titans, is happy here and the Titans coaching staff, administration and his team-mates want him here.

“We want to assure fans that Dave Taylor is part of our ongoing plans and he definitely wants to remain with the Titans and play finals football for us,” said Annesley today. “He is a key member of a team and a potential match winner who continues to work hard to achieve the success he, his team-mates and the club seek.

“I hope any speculation will end with that.”

Added Taylor: “I don’t know where this has come from but I am committed to doing my absolute best for the Titans, and I am content that the club is committed to me. I hope this is the end of it. I just want to play good footy.”
