Ryan Simpkins has been called into the Aquis Titans line-up to cover for the absence of Greg Bird who will miss Monday night’s clash with Manly at Cbus Super Stadium while on State of Origin duty.
Agnatius Paasi will wear Bird’s number 13 jersey with Simpkins will make his first NRL appearance for 2016, which is a testament to his resilience and dedication after being hit by injury since becoming a valuable member of Neil Henry’s squad early last season.
