Aquis Titans forward Agnatius Paasi heads back to Auckland this weekend to take on his former Warriors teammates in the city where his career began.

He spoke to the media today about the trip and how tough the Warriors will be.

He missed the Anzac Day clash at Mt Smart Stadium last year because of a foot injury, so his only trip home as a player was when he was just about the player of the tournament during the Auckland Nines in February.

“It was sort of hard for my family as originally my partner and my son were still in New Zealand, so that was pretty much the hard bit [about moving to the Gold Coast]." Paasi states.

“Playing week in week out footy with experienced blokes like Birdy, Ryan James and Luke Douglas who have helped me better my game"

"My partners a 100% Warriors fan, even this weekend"
