Coach Garth Brennan has said his players have not given up and are looking to finish 2018 strongly.

Mathematically the Titans are still a chance of qualifying for this year's finals series but it would take an unbeaten finish to the year and also have some other results to go their way.

Whilst hopes may have faded, the young squad are continuing to learn and will no doubt be better for the experiences they have gone through this season.

"It's important that we finish the year strong," Brennan said. "We want some confidence going into 2019.

"We're a young squad and I knew this year would be a learning year, they are learning some tough lessons but it's only going to make them stronger going into 2019.

"We'll be going into every game thinking we can win and preparing to win."

The side for Round 19 against the Knights has been boosted by the return of Jai Arrow and Keegan Hipgrave who both missed last Sunday's match.

"Yep, he's (Arrow) good to go. He was very close on Sunday.

I'd already made the decision prior to that. He's had a tough Origin campaign, playing in the middle in the toughest arena of our game.

"He did everything he could to try and make Sunday but that has helped him be ready for this weekend."
