2018 saw the rise of impressive youngster, Moeaki Fotuaika, and off the back of signing four-year extension earlier this year, all Titans members and fans are looking forward to seeing the 18-year-old in Titans colours for long time to come.

After being named joint NYC 'Player of the Year' in 2017, the New Zealand born prop arrived for pre-season 2018 as a Development Squad member and was looking to make every post a winner. He certainly did that, with Coach Garth Brennan impressed with his application and skill level, he elevated him to the NRL squad and a debut immediately followed.

"I came in and obviously didn't expect a game as I was a development player but when Garth offered me four more years, I saw the opportunity and I'm stoked I got to play NRL," Fotuaika said.

"I made sure I came in every day looking to make the most of each session and I was lucky enough to get an extension."

The debut match came in round nine against the Canberra Raiders in the nation's capital and from that moment, Fotuaika didn't look back.

"It was a pretty good year for myself. I didn't expect to play as much as I did.

"I'm grateful to Garth and the coaching staff for the opportunity to play. I really enjoyed being able to play week in, week out.

"It's good to come to training and do what you love. I look forward to every day ad I'm blessed to be able to do what I do."
