Letter to Members/Fans/Sponsors/Supporters

To all Gold Coast Titans Members, fans, sponsors, partners and supporters,

By now I am sure you have all heard the latest guidance from the NRL that the Telstra Premiership will continue until further notice, with our Round 2 game against the Eels to be played behind closed doors at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday as the game deals with the COVID-19 pandemic.

As we have seen over the past couple of days, this situation has the ability to change on an hourly basis. As soon as we have any more information, or changes to what we already know, we will communicate these with you.

Following the guidelines set by the Australian Government, the Titans will be restructuring our operations to restrict personal contact in order to limit the opportunity for the COVID-19 virus to spread, and to ensure the safety of our players, staff and supporters.

As such, our offices and training facilities will be closed to the general public until further notice, and where possible, all but a few essential staff will be asked to work from home.

This will make it difficult to deal with individual emails and phone calls, so we ask you to rely on the Club email, the titans.com.au website and our social media channels for any updates that the Club is able to provide.

We understand any frustration this may cause in the short term and ask for your understanding given the unprecedented circumstance we find ourselves in.

Greenberg and V'landys provide update on 2020 NRL season

Any information could be quickly made redundant as circumstances and direction from the NRL and Federal Government change.

All we can do is ask for your patience.

The Titans, and all NRL clubs, are under the whole-of-game direction and leadership of the NRL as we deal with this extraordinary, rapidly changing situation.

In the meantime, I offer you my sincere and heartfelt thanks for your support of the Titans as we deal with these unchartered waters, and a situation beyond the control of the Club and the game as a whole.

NRL announces competition to continue

The response from the Titans family to date has been one of incredible understanding, patience and togetherness in support of the Club, and each other.

These are extraordinarily difficult and challenging times. We are indeed truly grateful to have you with us.

From everyone at the Club, stay safe, show compassion to those around you, and thanks again for showing what being a Titan is all about.
