Titans to start as named for Elimination Final against Roosters
The Gold Coast Titans will enter today's finals game full of confidence, with Coach Justin Holbrook sticking with the side named earlier this week.
Co-captain Kevin Proctor is the only change to last week's winning side, with the back-rower returning from a shoulder injury.
Sam McIntyre is the man to make way for Proctor, in a sign of the Titans depth, after performing strongly in the skipper's absence.
Despite boasting a talented young side, the Titans also have players with finals experience with Proctor and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui having won the NRL Premiership with the Melbourne Storm and Corey Thompson (Bulldogs) and Jarrod Wallace (Broncos) having played in a grand final.
The Titans face the Sydney Roosters in the Elimination Final at Townsville's Queensland Country Bank Stadium. The winner will play Manly next week, while the losing team drops out of the competition.
