Gold Coast Titans Teacher Ambassadors kick off 2022 season in style

THE Gold Coast Titans Teacher Ambassadors have kicked off the new season in style, with an exclusive event held prior to the Titans vs Wests Tigers game late last month.

The event launched the first of many Teacher Ambassador events this season, with teachers and education staff enjoying dinner and refreshments prior to the game.

Jubilee Primary School Teacher Matt Armstrong said the Titans Teacher Ambassador Program has been an opportunity to connect Gold Coast and Northern Rivers educators with the club and the wider rugby league community.

“The Titans Teacher Ambassador event was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the Titans and fellow teachers,” Armstrong said.

“It provides a wonderful way to engage with Titans staff, understand their school and community outreach programs whilst also networking with likeminded educators in the local rugby league landscape.

“Being a Titans Teacher Ambassador means that I’ll always be looking for the next opportunity for my students to access Titans programs.

“To connect with the greater rugby league community on the Gold Coast and help promote both a great club and a wonderful sport for the girls and boys I teach and coach,” he said.

The Titans Teacher Ambassador initiative runs throughout the season, with various exclusive teacher functions run throughout the year.

Teachers are invited to attend the functions to network with other educators and learn more about the Titans, our school programs and commercial network.

Gold Coast Titans General Manager - Community and Game Development, Renee Cohen said she is looking forward to welcoming back almost 200 Teacher Ambassadors this season.

“We are looking forward to welcoming back so many new and old teacher ambassadors this year,” Cohen said.

“The Club is so thankful for our Teacher Ambassadors who always continue to support the Titans and share our values within their school communities,” she said.

Gold Coast Titans Teacher Ambassadors are welcomed to join in on the numerous Titans community events and exclusive Teacher Ambassador functions all season long.
