Injury report: Outside backs bolstered

The Gold Coast Titans outside backs stocks have been bolstered with the return of Phil Sami for the Round 25 clash in New Zealand against the Warriors.

With club medicos opting to rest the strike centre for last Sunday's game against the Knights, the 25-year-old will return for the final regular game of the season after recovering from his concussion.

The Titans have been dealt a blow mid-last week with an MRI revealing Patrick Herbert has sustained a partial ACL tear in conjunction with his MCL injury to his right knee.

A specialist review has resulted in a planned ACL reconstruction which will be done in the coming weeks.

In other news, Sam McIntyre will be monitored with a hand injury though is expected to play in New Zealand; meanwhile, Jacob Alick will also potentially return for Burleigh this week after his recent knee injury.

In the NRLW, Tazmin Gray is anticipating to return this weekend for the Broncos derby, pending a fitness test. She will take Zara Canfield's position who is set to miss a week through suspension.
