Injury report: Taliah Fuimaono

Titans NRLW star Taliah Fuimaono is still a chance of lining up in Thursday's local derby, despite limping off Cbus Super Stadium in her debut game for the Gold Coast.

The five-eighth left the field in the 48th minute, as the Titans opened their NRLW account with a 16-6 win against the North Queensland Cowboys.

Scans have revealed that Fuimaono suffered minor ankle ligament damage and will face a week-to-week assessment.

Fuimaono's possible return could be as soon as this Thursday, with the Titans to take on the Broncos at the Gabba in round two of the NRLW competition.

Winger Emily Bass is likely to return, after also leaving the field midway through the Titans first-up win.

Cowboys player Mia Middleton was sent to the sin bin for the tackle that left Bass injured, but the Titans flyer has recovered well from neck and shoulder stiffness from the incident and is expected to play against the Broncos.

The Titans NRL side escaped injury, in some positive news despite the result against the Roosters in Round 21.

Jaimin Jolliffe remains on track to return against the Panthers in Round 25, as he recovers well from a fracture to his hand sustained in Round 19.
