Round 24 team: Engine room bolstered by prop swap ahead of Shark attack

The Titans will welcome back two key forwards to lead from the front when they travel to Sydney to face the Sharks on Friday night.

Captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui returns from suspension after sitting on the sidelines for the past three matches, joining Jaimin Jolliffe who also makes his first appearance in over a month after fracturing his hand in Round 19.

Being blessed with a two-for-one deal in their front row rotation having lost Moeaki Fotuaika for a week after being sent off against the Warriors, the prop duo are two of three changes made by Jim Lenihan, with Kruise Leeming earning a recall after last playing in Round 15.

The Englishman will come onto the bench in place of Sam Verrills, who will miss the remainder of the season after being sent for surgery in preparation for the 2024 pre-season. Isaac Liu will also start from the pine this Friday night.

The remainder of the side remains unchanged, with Jayden Campbell to remain at fullback with AJ Brimson rested for the Sharks clash, whilst young guns Tom Weaver and Tony Francis also feature in the 22-man squad as they chase their NRL debut.

Kick-off is at 6pm on Friday at PointsBet Stadium, Sydney.
