Late mail: Fifita role confirmed as Hasler opts for experience to start
Titans coach Des Hasler has confirmed David Fifita will return via the bench for Saturday's XXXX Derby against the Dolphins at Cbus Super Stadium.
In his first game back from a pec injury sustained during the pre-season, the hulking forward comes onto the bench in place of Keenan Palasia, who has failed to overcome a quad strain picked up at training this week.
Experienced campaigner Isaac Liu will start in place of the injured front rower; whilst the Titans will also welcome back Jayden Campbell who will get his chance to shine for the first time in the No. 1 jersey since dislocating his patella in Round 25, 2023.
The remainder of the team will remain as per program, with Harley Smith-Shields the 18th man.
Kick-off is at 6.35pm AEST, live on Fox League and Kayo Sports.
