Round 11 team: Palasia returns as new-look spine aims to dethrone Knights

Keenan Palasia will hope to bring a touch of magic to the Titans this Saturday as he returns for the Gold Coast's clash against the Knights at Suncorp Stadium.

In his first NRL game back since sustaining a quad injury ahead of Round 4, his inclusion is one of four forced changes made by Titans coach Des Hasler due to the side's growing casualty ward; with Phil Sami, Harley Smith-Shields, AJ Brimson and Kieran Foran all sidelined following Sunday's win at home against the Cowboys.

Palasia joins the bench alongside Joe Stimson with the pair bringing 166 games of NRL experience with their inclusions.

Alofiana Khan-Pereira and Aaron Schoupp also return to the fill the void left in the back five with Chris Randall and Sam Verrills to make-up a new look halves pairing due to the injuries to Brimson and Foran.

Rising playmaker Tom Weaver is a chance of returning from injury and could be a late inclusion, named on the extended bench for this weekend's fixture alongside uncapped duo Tony Francis and Jaylan De Groot who may also come into consideration ahead of the trip to Brisbane.

Aiming for three consecutive Magic Round wins at this weekend's festival of rugby league, the Titans will don a special City jersey made by the fans, for the fans.
