What’s On: Charging into Retro Round
Rugby league returns to the Gold Coast this Saturday when the Titans take on the Panthers at Cbus Super Stadium.
The Chargers heritage jersey also makes a return as the Titans wind back the clock and celebrate the history of rugby league on the Gold Coast for an epic Retro Round clash.

Captain Charger returns
It’s official... Captain Charger is back! A familiar sight for rugby league fans in the 90s throughout the Chargers era, Captain Charger will be reborn, roaming the sidelines and engaging with Members and fans.
Chargers heritage jersey
Debuted on field at Magic Round, the heritage jersey will be worn by the Titans at home as part of the Retro Round celebrations.
The jerseys and bobbleheads have been restocked for sale at the game from the Titans merchandise shops around the stadium:
- South-East corner outside of the stadium
- South-East corner inside the stadium
- Inside the stadium by Aisle 7
There’s also limited stock available online via shop.titans.com.au.
Want your Jersey to look like the ones on the field?
Bring your existing 2026 heritage jersey or purchase one on the day and have an official NRL number of your choice pressed onto the back!
Key details:
- $25 for both single and double digit pressings
- Numbers can be applied to pre-owned and new heritage jerseys
- Orders start from 2:30pm at the Internal Shop near Gate C
- Orders close at Half Time or until stock runs out
- You will receive a text when the number is complete
Be sure to bring and wear another shirt while the jersey gets branded.
