The Gold Coast Titans will celebrate the power of rugby league to bring people together this weekend, with the club represented across three states and every format of the game.
From inclusive competitions on the Gold Coast to NRLW action in Sydney and an NRL blockbuster clash in Melbourne, the weekend will showcase the Titans’ commitment to making rugby league a game for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
The action begins on Friday at the Coomera Sports Centre, where seven representative Wheelchair Rugby League teams from across Australia and New Zealand will compete across three days at the 2026 LCA NRL Wheelchair Championship.
Local players from across South East Queensland will don Titans colours and showcase the speed, skill and inclusive spirit in one of rugby league’s fastest-growing formats.
On Saturday morning, dozens of Leagueability participants will light up the field across three matches of adaptive rugby league on the Gold Coast.
Delivered by the Titans, Leagueability creates opportunities for people with physical and intellectual disabilities to play in an inclusive and supportive environment while building confidence, friendships and a lifelong connection to the game.
Across the border in Sydney, the Titans will be chasing their first victory of the NRLW season against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon.
Emerging prop Fanua Rimoni will make her NRLW debut after an impressive pre-season alongside fresh faces Lily Patston and Dragons recruit Indie Bostock, who is set to make her first Gold Coast appearance since making the move north.
Attention then turns to Melbourne on Sunday night, where the Titans’ NRL side will meet the Storm in a blockbuster clash at AAMI Park. Sunday’s showdown will be a full circle moment for winger Dean Ieremia, who is set to play his first game in Titans colours against the club he debuted for in 2021.
It will be a similar situation for AJ Brimson in his 150th appearance, playing his first game of NRL against Melbourne in 2018.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell said the weekend reflected the club’s commitment to creating genuine opportunities for everyone to play rugby league.
"This weekend is a true reflection of what the Titans stand for as a club," he said.
"To see our teams and programs represented across community, inclusive and elite-level competitions fills me with immense pride.
"That breadth of representation speaks to the commitment we have made to ensuring rugby league truly is the greatest game for all."
Catch both the NRLW Titans v Bulldogs from 3.15pm on Saturday before the NRL Titans v Storm kicks off at 6.15pm Sunday on Fox League and Kayo Sports.
