Aquis Gold Coast Titans winger Anthony Don returned from a shoulder injury last weekend in the loss to the Raiders but conceded that there were some nerves both heading into and during the match.

Don injured with shoulder in the Round 2 fixture against the Knights and was a much needed inclusion last week in what has been a terrible run with injuries at the club.

“I was pretty nervous,” Don said. “You get a little bit of time to think about it on the wing as well with not a lot of traffic coming your way.

“I feel I was a little bit hesitant at some stage but I’ll be looking to get that out of my head this week and not be so cautious.”

The Grafton junior has not been out on the field but admits that everyone needs to improve in defence.

“Any team that has over 40 points scored against them needs to address their defence and that’s what will be looking to do.

“It’s all across the park and we’re all making little mistakes. We all need to improve from the middle to the edges. We need to focus on that as we’ve got plenty to work on.

The Titans face a tough task this week when they battle the Broncos whose forward pack have been dominant in getting their sets rolling and moving up field.

“There’s no doubting they have a strong pack so we’re definitely going to have to muscle up in the middle and stop the roll on. It’s not just their starters either, their bench have been strong as well.
