New recruit Mitch Rein has spoken about the environment Garth Brennan provides for his players as a Head Coach.
Rein, along with back rower Ryan Simpkins are the only two players to have spent time under the tutelage of Brennan and the former Panther believes the squad lifts because of his positive influence.
“Garth and I get along pretty well,” Rein said. “We have a good relationship but I think that all the players have a good relationship with him.
“I think that’s why he has such a good record because everyone loves playing for him. He doesn’t make anything feel like a chore as the coach.”
Having spent 12 months with Brennan does put the 27-year-old ahead of his fellow squad members in relation to the friendship but he’s excited for everyone else to be a part of it.
“It’s pretty exciting for all of the other guys that haven’t had anything to do with him. I feel like it’s a good time to be a part of the club.”
